CG presents... the Galaxy Note from Samsung!

In the last two years, tablets achieved great success, not only because the iPads were released, but also Samsung with its Galaxy series contributed a lot. 

About three and a half months ago, we reported about Samsung's plan to build a device which should close the gap between a smartphone and a tablet. And yes, they did not only manage to produce it, but also to create a new “Smarttablet” experience. The name of its device: Galaxy Note!

Galaxy Note - higher resolution than stated!

Earlier, we mentioned in our report of the Samsung Galaxy Note that it would sport only a resolution of 800x480 pixels. Given the fact that this would mean a very low pixel density, we were kind of disappointed! But now we've been told something completely different: The Galaxy Note will be shipped with an amazing resolution of 1280x800 pixels. This results in a pixel density of 285 PPI (pixels per inch), which literally blows my mind. Sorry Samsung for spreading the news that this device would only have WVGA.

Samsung Galaxy Note with 5.3" display unveiled!

Finally! We've got some informations about Samsung's fusion of a smartphone and a tablet. The picture above shows you the brand-new 5.3 inch monster - called the Galaxy Note. With a screen of this size, at the moment it's the only device worldwide blurring the lines between tablet and smartphone. The only clue we have, that it is indeed supposed to be more like a smartphone, is its software. It's running Android Gingerbread - the smartphone version of the OS - and not Honeycomb.

Samsung is going to unveil the Galaxy Tab 7.7, Wave 3 and Galaxy Note at the IFA!

According to the friends of This is my next, Samsung is going to unveil three new devices at the IFA in Berlin next week! How do we know this? Well, it was discovered  in the app of Samsung called "Unpacked". There were three logos: Galaxy Tab 7.7, Wave 3, Galaxy Note.

Samsung will show us a 5.2 inch device at the IFA! Smartphone or tablet?!
