Galaxy Note - higher resolution than stated!

Earlier, we mentioned in our report of the Samsung Galaxy Note that it would sport only a resolution of 800x480 pixels. Given the fact that this would mean a very low pixel density, we were kind of disappointed! But now we've been told something completely different: The Galaxy Note will be shipped with an amazing resolution of 1280x800 pixels. This results in a pixel density of 285 PPI (pixels per inch), which literally blows my mind. Sorry Samsung for spreading the news that this device would only have WVGA.

Further on, Samsung released the first spot of the Note. Watch and enjoy!

They should call it 800x640 though.

And with one pixel being RGBG.

Not calling RG one pixel and BG another ..
