Wii U not before April 1st!
According to Reggie Fils-Aime, president of Nintendo America, the Wii U is going to be launched "after April 1st". Well, to our mind, that is not too long. But of course, no one knows what exactly is meant by "after". We at California's Gadgets expect it to be released sometime in summer next year. Confirmed: Only one Wii U controller each console!
One of THE questions was answered: The Wii U will only support one controller each console! Iwata explained that the console is actually able to support multiple Wii U controllers but it simply would be to expensive. Hmm... what happens if the controller gets broken? Do we have to wait until Nintendo sends you a substitution? That's not cleared, yet...and what about the other players? Well, they have to use the good old Wiimotes from the Wii.

Wii U won't gulp DVDs or Blu-rays
Yes, you've read that just fine. According to Nintendo's president Satoru Iwata, the company's new console will not sport a drive capable of playing DVDs or high-resolution Blu-ray-discs. Wíth this, Nintendo sticks with their decision they already made years ago with the Wii. They want a pure gaming console. Well, one the one hand, we think that's pretty outdated for a future device but on the other hand, we have to admit that Nintendo really did make the most profit with their Wii. We'll see if the Wii U can live up to that earlier success.
New pics from the Wii U!
Curious about how the Wii U will look like? Bored from the same E3 front pics? Here we just found two new... including the back! So, are there any surprises? No... actually, yes there is! The back reveals the HDMI-Port but where is the Ethernet-port? Is the Wii U wifi only? Maybe... maybe not. We believe the Nintendo will produce an ethernet adapter which will be connected with one of the USB-Ports....
