PlayStation Vita coming 2011 - but only in Japan!

Yeah, Sony's new handheld: The PlayStation Vita...Quad-Core, huge display, powerful GPU, two thumpsticks, what does our gaming heart want more? Ah ok, we forgot: We want to play with it THIS year! But this is getting harder than expected: Sony will release their baby in Japan first!

Okay, no problem, then we have to wait some days longer.
But STOP! Sony Corp's Executive Vice-President, Kaz Hirai has confirmed previous speculation that the PlayStation Vita won't be ready for shipping in Europe and the US, this year! Hirai didn't say any reason for the delay...

The PlayStation Vita will start at $249, alongside a 3G-enabled version for $299.
