Some days ago, we reported about the death of Steve Jobs. And again, this post is dedicated to a very influential person: Dennis Ritchie died at the age of 70.
There might be some guys who will say "huh? Dennis... who?"
Ok, he wasn't a guy who was very often in the press, but he was an important pioneer of modern computing.
Ritchie was THE inventor of the programming language "C" and had a very important role in the development of UNIX.
In 1999, the former President Clinton awarded Ritchie with the National Medal of Technology 'cause of its achievements.
This little programm is dedicated to our friend:
#include <stdio.h> int main(void) { printf("R.I.P, Dennis\n"); return 0; }
We will miss you, Dennis!
