No, we're not talking about Captain America. We're talking about N-Conrol's new Xbox 360 controller attachment, called the "Avenger". What's that admittedly weird looking piece for, you ask? Remember playing Call of Duty the last time, having a run, killing one enemy after another... and than getting shot just because you stood still for the second of reloading? Well, that's gonna be a thing of the past.
Those tentacels you see, make it possible to reach the X, Y and B buttons with your forefinger while keeping your right thumb on the analog stick. This may sound kind of awkward, we thought so too. But within only an hour, it starts to feel better and better. As soon as you get used to it, your gaming experience will not remain the same. It even starts to feel pretty odd playing without the Avenger, afterwards.
Wrap-up
All in all, we think it's a brilliant enhancement if your Xbox controller is the device you push the most. Otherwise, $49.99 isn't exactly what we call one hell of a deal. Our advice: wait until N-Control starts shipping their own controller for just about that price. We sure hope they will.
